At the occasion of the “World Animal day”, the Monegasque ALEXANDRA Association organizes a full day information session on the use of alternative methods to animal testing Tuesday October 4.

The goal is to educate Monegasque primary school kids, college students and their biology teachers on the different alternative methods that are used today in medical and industrial product testing.

30 children age 10, and 20 students age 14 – 18 from the different schools in Monaco, and their respective teachers are invited to follow a 1.5 hour educational program, including a presentation and live demonstration of the use of tissue engineered human skin, eye, gingival and respiratory cultures. Participants will be able to assist in ‘real time’ laboratory experiments.
